Di Maria is okay for us. He is the only one who could be said to have replaced one of our legends- Giggs. We are looking for Scholes' replacement. We are looking for Kean/Hargreaves.

Over the weekend, I watched some of our matches in 2008/2009, I realized why SAF always wanted Giggs on the pitch. He turned zigzagly around the final 3rd and opposition half like he were playing with primary school kids. While with the ball, all of a sudden opposition defence lost grip of Ronaldo, Berbatov and Rooney. Di Maria is the only one close to doing that.

we can release Fletcher & Anderson, sell Hernandez, Zaha, Evans & Cleverley, then send Januzaj on loan. Young will be back up in case of injuries on the left midfield. if we are keeping Valencia (looks likely), then we won't be looking for another right back or Cuadrado any time soon. if Falcao's deal will be permanent, one of RvP or Mata will be sold. we are sure to make some recoup, no matter how much.

potentially, we can witness the exists of Hernandez, Fletcher, Anderson, Zaha, Cleverley, RvP(Mata) & Evans.

if replacements are Bale (Reus), Vidal, Strootman, Nani, Godin & Vlaar; I don't think its unreasonable + the actual expenditure may be around £150m.

I reiterate; Both have to be considered. We are looking to slash our wage bill so as to accommodate the right players in positions where we just to to fill. Why on earth should we think of adding another potential 250k/week(if we are to offer him a 4 year contract, that's a whopping 48m in wages) luxurious signing that can be done without at the moment?
