Welcome and happy bumping. You have to keep trying and you will eventually get used to it. Infact with time you can't even try sleeping with stomach down, your baby won't even allow you.

@missmalachi, I feel u. Had a mc n evacuation few days 2 my ds bday. In fact my sis was asking me y I was walking awkwardly bt I just said stress of bday preparation. Mine started after I kpekused, so in my subsequent pregnancies I stayed off kpekus 4 d 1st 3mths nd I tank God dey all went smoothly. God gat u, u ll rejoice again very soon. Stay blessed.

Pillows. Prop yourself with as many pillows as possible. They make you feel comfortable and you'll sleep better

At my last 2 ANC, we have been doing interactive sessions. Asking questions, discussion 'pregnancy myths' and how true or false they are. There hasn't really been a lecture per se, the nurses have been trying to 'clear our doubts' and I've learnt a lot from it.

So U can go ahead and gate crash to satisfy ur curiosity or better still just wait for ur next class and see if there will be a difference.

Birth story pls bear with the long story
On Thursday that was 18th I went in for induction . I was checked and my cervix was still closed ... I was 5 days past my due date . My hospital said they do not give oxytocin directly like that . So they started with gel . It lasted 4hrs .. Cervix was still closed . Another gel was inserted in the cervix, lasted another 4 hours ... Meanwhile they have to keep inserting fingers to check the dilation ... It wasn't fun. After the 2nd four hours cervix dilated to 1cm only . Next option was to insert a folly ballon .. This was to last 12hours . First attempt to insert it I wanted to run mad , because they had to insert a long tube with water inside the cervix . Tried it the 2nd time and it worked . By 9 am the next morning I was dilated to 3cm only . The doctor came and felt the baby .. She said the baby was down and I wa 70% effaced . My water broke and I was hooked to oxytocin . Baby was stable for 10mins and then .....

Lol, public hospitals are, erm....I got an invitation to one of the top private hospitals here to attend their ANC! we were treated like Royalty but their fees.....Nah, I couldn't, so I carried myself back to our free of charge hospitals.
