Implications : none whatsoever.
The swelling will go down with time, on its own.

My sisters have all returned to school and my mom is a nurse working morning dutyour, so I've been alone with baby and it has not been easy atall...I really appreciate them ...

My baby's big vaccine spot didn't swell sof I don't know what to say...other sabi mamas will answer you

Am actually new here, but could be of help, not all bcg spot swell, but some do, it either goes down on its own, or it Rupture like a boil and brings out our which should be cleaned with cotton wool and disposed appropriately. hth

My baby's bcg spot got swollen like 10 weeks after the immunization, the pus came out a week or so after. We just cleaned it and dat was all. Nothing was applied cuz its normal, and it didnt hurt also.
