i have been following this thread and now it's my turn asin am two weeks pregnant, I don't know where to start or what to do ...can someone help me out with do's and don't for a first timer in her early stage
hope it's not too early?

@maureensylvia..welcome ..may you have an easy stress free 9months and an easy delivery ..well first off start with you prenatal vitamins..folic acid..and you're 4weeks pregnant not 2weeks ..other mamas would come give more inputs..

@hafsat24, do you also feel this pain between your thighs or your bum?? What about when you turn over in bed?? It could be either symphysis pubis dysfunction or pelvic girdle pain. If it is either, there is really nothing you can do but to manage it. It can be managed by tummy and pelvic floor muscle exercises, voiding sudden movements, pulling your knees up as far as you can when lying down, keeping your legs together when lying down, et al.
But alas! It might be neither and maybe you just pulled a muscle or ligament- one of the joys of pregnancy. Sorry. If not better, it is better you check to put your mind at rest- better nothing than sorry. All the best

Don't b scared. Ur baby is probly resting on a nerve. I had it wit my DD, wen I got up 4rm a sitting position it was hell 2 move bt after walking 4 a while, I would b fine. 1st off I wld walk wit my legs open bt it was embarrassing so I tried walking wit legs closed and it relieved me on time bt d pain was wit me till I gave birth every time I sat 4 long. My doc wasn't a fan of paracetamol so I had 2 bear it. A colleague ofmine also eexperienced same n weneva she cldnt bear it she went 2 d hospital n she was always given paracetamol n told 2 rest. While d nurses told her its cos her baby had plenty hair, lol. Baby come na, hair no dey head. So if u can't bear it, c ur doc 2 put ur mind @ rest. Pele.

Evening mamas, here wit my story again o. Ve had a wound on my toe since I got pregnant, which regfused to heal up, pus always coming out of it, was told d area has been infected. They said ingrowing toe nail caused it. My nail has been removed today. Won't be able to wear any foot wear for like 7days, if nt more than that.
