Hi all

Please is there anybody that can help me with answer to this question? it is an assignment actually It goes this way, Problems of research methodology in Nigeria. i have done all the searches but could not find any meaningful answer to the question.

It will be very much appreciated if i can get an answer to this as i will be submiting the assignment today.

1. IIITERACY:
This has hampered the appreciation of the value of research findings by the majority of the people (social workers and business executive inclusive)
2. SECURITY:
This frustrates the researcher in his effort to generate meaningful data.
3. INADEQUATE STATISTICS:
This limits the degree of researcher’s effectiveness and by extension his research findings.
4. SCANTY INFORMATION BASE:
This narrows down the quantity and quality of literature available to a researcher. In other words, not as much research findings had been accumulated from where a researcher can draw from.
5. DOMINANCE OF SMALL SCALE ORGANIZATIONS:
These do not see any need for research studies due to the management styles and lack of finance.
6. EXISTENCE OF SELLER’S MARKET:
In which producers instead of the buyers are kings. In such situations, goods produced would be sold and their would be little need to research the market for possible improvements.
7. LACK OF RESEARCH FUNDS:
This discourages research of all forms. Governments, institutions/organizations do not quite appreciate the contributions of research findings to economic development and therefore do not provide sufficient amounts for research of all types.
8. MULTINATIONAL FIRMS RELY MAINLY ON THEIR PARENT COMPANIES OVERSEAS FOR THEIR RESEARCH NEEDS:
This attitude does not encourage the growth of research in developing countries.
9. LACK OF RESEARCH EQUIPMENT:
Like computers contribute to slowing down the growth of research.
10. INACCURATE OR LACK OF CENSUS FIGURES:
This puts researchers in situation where they cannot determine easily the sample size of their studies.

QUALITY OF RESEARCH( LIFE) :

Everyone in Nigeria has made losses on every level, but because of production levels we have people to deploy in 'levels';

Our gigantic losses can be translated into very strong but popular tactical products as well!

We need to supply our victories**

In this example we started here already : 'people cannot shadows!' But now apart from just speaking 'parks' or 'amusement parks**' into design and planning..!

Solutions to problem of research in Nigeria
Nigeria is a nation blessed by all means in both human and natural resources. Amidst these blessings the people are suffering in abject poverty both in the spiritual and physical sphere of life. Nigerians have eyes but cannot see; ears but cannot listen and mind but don’t understand. R[b]esearch[/b] has shown that the mind-set of the average Nigerian youth is just to make it; the means is not the issue
