Pls i need your advice. My friend just got a job with an oil servicing firm. the pay is 120k per month...but he has aready paid a deposit of 6000 pounds ( 1.6 million naira) for a UK school...which i think is none refundable...he is now confuse. should is take the offer or go to UK for studies? pls advice.

Why none refundable? Do you think or you are sure? If you think, then go get your facts right. If you´re sure, then your friend can't forgo such a huge amount of money. He either talks things out with his new employer or go for the Master's degree. I am sure he wanted the Master's degree before the job suddenly came. Moreover, the 120K job is not something he should neglect 1.6milla for. My opinion, of course.

He shld take the job. oil & Gas jobs don't easily comeby. A lot of graduates with good qualifications are on the streets searching for jobs. He can save up the money again in a short while.

Which school in the UK collects 6k pounds as non-refundable deposit?

The initial deposit is 3,500 pounds but he decided to pay 6,000 pounds.

Even 3500 pounds is ridiculous . Anyhoo,seems to me like he made his choice when he decided to pay 6k instead of the 3500.
He really should go on with his studies.
