Gud day guys, i am just a newly student of A+,i had a problem of my pc(labtop),the system was being affected with virus i ask some one how to solve the problem,he told me i shall format it.pls can some one in the forum show me how to do it.

It is quite easy to format a pc. First get the operating system cd that you want to install. For instance get a windows 7 cd and insert into ur pc. Then restart the pc and ur system will boot from the cd. It will ask you if you want to repair ur computer or install a fresh operating system(format). Just follow the simple instructions and you are good to go. You may want to contact google as well

A rule of thumb,before you do any formatting make sure you back up your files.very important!

Yes back up your useful files b4 formating ur laptop!
Before u format, chk the laptop model, like dell it usually "F12" or so, to set the bøøting squence, set it to CD/DVD..then carry on from dere, be smart cuz u'will be ask to boot frøm CD, press any key to continue when u press, na u sabi, u go start 4rm square one, hope dis help? Bye bye.

Now here's some easy step how to
format your computer with windows

. There's no doubt that Windows 7 is
far better than the previous
version of Windows XP or Windows
Vista.
To format you need a boot disk of
Windows 7 or Windows 8 which
you've bought or Downloaded.
Now Here's The Steps
Data Backup:
Remember, to install Windows only
one drive(eg: C Drive) need to be
formatted. And formatting C Drive
will delete everything from C Drive,
My Documents Folder and Desktop.
So make sure you've backed up
every important file before format.
By the way, if you want format a
whole Hard Disk or want to make
partition then back up everything
from your Hard Disk.

Boot Menu Setting:
To boot from CD or DVD or USB
drive you have to make your CD/
DVD or USB Drive first boot device
in priority. To do this, while starting
your computer enter in BIOS set up
when Manufacturers logo screen
appears. To enter in this setting
page, press F2, F10, F12 or DEL key
while starting your computer.(The
particular key will be displayed
below the screen when
manufacturers logo screen appears)
