What is it with all the wasteful spending in government borne out of having so many advisers/assistants who will in-turn appoint their own assistants?? Are the commissioners who have their own assistants to boot now ceremonious positions - can someone enlighten me of the functions of these numerous special advisers and assistants other than duplicating ministries and responsibilities just for the sake throwing cash around, wastefully?

So you employ people to make sure that other people don't steal your food. Okay o. They wouldn't steal food if they weren't hungry.

With this mallam-clown as a leader of the state the menace of Boko Haram and poverty will be endemic in Borno. His principle is clear: Settle the elders and allow the boys to take care of themselves. Really, we have mediocres as leaders

Is it any wonder the state is full of Boko Haram. Some people are trying to post as if its no one lese's business except Borno people, but can anybody say Boko Haram is nobody business today?

I think GEJ should get EFCC to that place fast and they should put governors in the north who will develop the place. That will make Boko Haram less attractive to most.

One would even have lost count on the number of assistants available in the system. Not trying to sound tribal but talk about wasteful spending, especially when the insecurity in the north was created by this same style of throwing cash around for personal aggrandizement (which does not get to the common man on the street) and neglect over the years, yet the northern governors and elites are playing Oliver twist; asking for more allocation from oil generated revenue whilst insulting the southern governors that the allocation accrued to the south is too much for them to manage properly/effectively. . Hypocrites! shocked> sad
