Visa Assistant to the Swedish Embassy

There is a vacancy for a full time Visa Assistant at the Swedish Embassy in Abuja. The position is for immediate occupancy.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following requirements:
• Fluent in English and preferably some knowledge of French, advantage will also be given to candidates with knowledge of Swedish.
• Previous experience of migration matters from a foreign Embassy
• Good computer skills (MS Office)
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Able to handle demanding working environment
• Able to learn new issues as well as routine matters
• Able to give service under stressful conditions

The candidate that we are looking for will after introduction handle all types of the Embassy's migration matters up to the decision level where the Visa Officer in Charge will take over.

Receptionist/Switchboard Operator to the Swedish Embassy

There is a vacancy for a part time position as Receptionist/Switchboard Operator at the Swedish Embassy in Abuja. The position if for immediate occupancy.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following requirements:
• Excellent command of English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
• Previous experience of similar work
• Good computer skill (MS Office and Lotus Notes)
• Service minded and open attitude
• Experience of telephone switch board is a merit

The candidates that we are looking for will after introduction be responsible for the Embassy's reception and telephone switch board. Other tasks will include various administrative matters, organize driving schedules, mail and courier handling and giving information to the public.
