Honestly i think itd an african thing period, im ivorian who was dating a ghanian guy, had a child with him, and was still not good enough gor hom, because i was raised in american, they said i was too americanized, for them and would have rather see him with a ghanian, i lost my child, and i believe they were happy about it!!!........now im getting to no an igbo, and im afriad the same thing might happen.......but all i have to say to you, is when one door closes another one opens.....if hes meant for you no matter what he come back to you, its obvious his love wasnt strong enoigh to overcome his parents, but youll do better my sister.......believe that

Ammyng: One thing I know for sure is, you cant possibly make them to love you. dont make yourself look desperate to them no matter how hard it is. Nigerians are culture addicts for all I know and they most times use the culture as an escape exuse to dump a foreign woman after using her for green card and so many other things. Though your own care here is different.

I do understand what shes going through but don't come here and make Nigerians look like they all users and gold diggers....
