Wonders shall never end!
Last Friday 30th March 2012 Immigration Officers stormed the ZTE Nigeria Limited at CLAN Place near NYSC Headquarters demanding for the necessary papers--Work Permit and Residency Permit from the Chinese Expartriates. It was a rowdy scene but at the end of the day,the immigration Officers left.Though most of the Chinese Expatriates actually dont have the require documents to show.
Witnesses expressed no surprises at all as that was said not to be the first time such has happened. It was explained that Immigration Officers have visited on many occassions in the time past but nothing meaningful has been recorded because the CHINESE seem to have known the quarters to settle with sums of money and the matter would die its untimely death.By and Large,Immigration Officers see this constant visit as a means to make money hence whenever they run out of cash they come calling. Its the same story as usual!
Question is why allow such ill to continue for this long? Our borders are so so porous that foreigners can come in without the right papers and stay for as long as they wish.
This is very wrong!!!!!!!!!!!
