from this analysis, there are 17840 CCIEs in the world, out of which 14 Nigerians made the list. to me, is a huge opportunity for Nigerians to make history and proof their level of competence in Nigeria. 14 is too small for a country of 160 million population. we can do better despite the fact that CCIE is a real life tough exam.

That is so not true. You are basing your theory on information that was last updated in 2008. I've come across nothing less than 8 or so CCIEs on linkedin alone.

unfortunately Cisco have removed the page from their website but as of 2010, it increased to 32. if you have the latest report on it, post it here.

What I know as of October 2014 we have 48 Nigerians who are CCIE, thats all
