Halcie: During d batch A posting, i was posted 2 jigawa state but i bluntly refused to collect the callup letter, and applied 4 reposting because i cant stand life of perpetual hazard in the north. I cudnt risk it. So i will have to wait 4 batch B.

Same here, i was posted to Borno last year june at the heat of boko haram crises, i bluntly refused and re-applied (a decision which i regreted later as those that went to camp were later re-deployed to any state of their interest), i thut i will be re-absolved in the batch A, but couldnt. Now i await batch B seriously as i need to get over with this stupid Nysc asap. Why havnt they scraped the scheme totally yet?
Pls, its better they scrap the program rather than scraping batch B, b'cos i'm losing my patience already.

whats the fun of serving in lagos if i'm going to be posted to one local school? I realy want to serve in lag, my degree is in chemical engr, will i stil be posted to a school or is there an exception for engrs? If its strictly school, then i'll gladly stay back in the east as i'v been teaching as part time since i graduated last yr. Pls reply
