»Everyone who has castigated OOU is right, just that some people did it for the wrong reasons, change of institution won't be a bad idea at this point, but..if you are ready to spend (N+x)years, where N=No of years intended for the course..and X= a positive integer from 1.....etc, Pay exhorbitant and ghost fees like someone rightly said, you can go on. Nothing is wrong really, if you can shine your eyes, the post-UME is always the simplest,and with Score as low as 180, you are a go!..I got almost 40 and made the first list, and I've been there since 2006..yet to graduate! No carryovers (CGPA> 4.3), now my counterparts in other schools have long graduated( way back since last year..UNILAG). OOU is a great school sha, they will drill u and make u the best..but at what Price? So, if you weigh your options and still feel you can cope..you are very much welcome! Don't say no one told you o! Of course, I succceeded. However, if I had enough enlightenment before going in there, I wouldn't have considered the place as an option. That's why I'll advise even my enemy beforehand not to go to that school. I'm now in UNILAG, studying Medicine and the difference is like that between paradise and hell.
As for the experience you claimed you gained in OOU, go to other schools and you'll gain much sweeter experience.
@Jambites, I used 5 years in OOU, so I know what I'm saying (not gainsay). Don't say you were not informed!!!

you may be right but the experience i got from there is fetching me millions. I never regret going there.

I finished from O.O.U and I enjoyed it in a way. However, there are numerous lapses over there. If you're passionate about going there, I suggest you make inquiries about how credible your chosen department is.
Some departments are up-to-date with the curriculum with passionate lecturers while some are just not it at all.
Please do your research.
