We shouldn't even be no Are or any kind of title stuff.

We are doing OK. We are perfectly upholding and defending our Yoruba culture and interests very fine and we don't need any Are to validate our capabilities.

odumchi: Wouldn't it be interesting if the future Aare of Yoruba Nairaland and the Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland worked together to advance our common aims?

I also hope they will be able to come to a roundtable, discuss and work for common goals. That will be make the job of moderators easier.

there are only 13 people in yoruba history who became aare ona kakanfo . the last aare mko abiola won the 1993 presidential election. that was 18 yrs ago... before him was akintola . it took them 22 years before they picked abiola..

My broda there is no defence for that one lined statement. Sometimes when caught in the act perhaps the most "charitable" thing to do would be to do a sincere soul search but definitely not offering this sort of feeble defence. What u did is akin to giving a sermon on chastity then licking your lips at the jiggle of the booobs of your listener!
You can not claim to be "detribalized" then gloat at the antecedents of one of the worse examples on this forum of a tribalist, not even "context" conceals the fact that u'd relish seeing him take on his "foes". Your one lined statement was a tacit endorsement of tribal warfare on this forum and you can not claim to only be towing the line of most on this thread, that's purely subterfugal.
