I noticed while trying to post a new thread that the smileys (.gif images) are single images saved separately and independently. That implies that there is a HTTP request for each smiley image and they load independently. I feel the images should be combined into one (using the CSS Sprite technique), it will require just one http request and the images will load faster. 1 Like |
