well, i once had a room mate during my nd, the main equipment is a typewriter for assignment and practice.
one of the most important course according him was shorthand, i learnt it carries about 7units.

you can visit the school, their department is not far from marketing when going to boys hostel (unity hostel).

Which course and wat campus.i wil advice dat ur brother go to main campus admision office to ask if he can stil do d registration.
