THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will, next month, commence admission of successful candidates into various tertiary institutions in the country, for the 2012/2013 academic session. JAMB Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor ‘Dibu Ojerinde, who made this known in Abuja, said relevant stakeholders in the system were currently being mobilised for a policy meeting scheduled for May 21 in Abuja, where a harmonised cut-off point that would kick start admission process for 2012/2013 would emerge. Professor Ojerinde said this when he received a four-man delegation from the Nigerian Turkish Nile University, led by its Vice Chancellor, Professor Bunyamin Kaptanoglu. The registrar commended the efforts of the Nigerian Turkish Nile University for the quality of training offered Nigerians, saying it was a marvellous contribution to educational development in the country. Really folks, y'all need to get this straight and not twisted. The list released some time back has different schools with different cut off points. What jamb is trying to do is have a harmonize cut off point for all tertiary institutions. There's no point insulting or saying the pume wants to be scrabed. And that guy with his pix up there should remove it. Its childish and nevery childish. I no wan insult am oh. |
