Most dynamic wingers starts on the wing when they lose pace they move to the midfield happened with Figo,giggs and the likes
Its also natural for young player to fill several positions before they find their niche.
I'll admit me saying Gerrard wasn't good enough to hold a position was a bit too far and I should say is no response to how they line up for England,
