Pls i recently got bb 8830 i agree i am a novice with blackberry devices. I cant browse with it. Or is it a must that one must subscribe to BIS before browsing on bb? Cant i use my credit to browse?. Secondly i cant find any apps folder on it no opera mini no facebook app currently the phone to me looks like nokia torch because na only call i fit ansa with am. And also i cant configure it myself for browsing . Pls help cos i am not browsing with it. I sincerely need ur help.

The BB is a device in common use yet no one can be able to help me here. Pls help.

When I bought my own BB,I almost smash it,you can even see my threads here calling it useless phone but am now enjoying it,the sad truth about BB is that without any subscription is nothing but a liability,so try subscribe and you wiil enjoy it.

I have such a phone and suffered when I went to MTN office for them to configure it for me...well, there is a place where you send wireless settings...this u do after you have subscribed like sending BBC or BIS to 21600 for MTN (others na task o, just send me credit or email me at katelis2013@gmail.com). Guess its long now but hope you have found a way to use it.

Just copied this, incase u need help still. (gprs instead of GPRS) and he told me to Click at Host Routing Table and Register Now to activate everything
