If it is for Lagos they should partner the state rather than build on their own. The people alone know where it pinches. On the Apapa-Oshodi highway, I think that road is a black hole for government funds. There's no road on earth that handles such traffic that will last more than six months. Parts of it are below sea level and cannot be drained. The best solution will be to reactivate the rail line to evacuate cargo and leave the road to the state government to maintain and levy any cargo truck that chooses to ruin it. |

Another power plants, with no plan for GAS supply? Shame on them all. Where are those fools who said they've dumped their generators some months ago. A typical GEJ facebook post goes thus: Our Government has improved power geneartion from 4000 MW to 4020 MW - GEJ. and then you see 100,000 likes on the post. OH ye Nigerians, we are all fools. Angola just recovering from decades of civil war with a population less than that of Lagos State produces over 8,000MW 1 Like |

For me I am wondering what is an Emergency Power Plant? Is it a power plant that you 1. Switched on when you need emergency power in Lagos state? 2. Switched on when there is an emergency in Lagos State. 3. A power plant that that would be built in an emergency in Lagos State? From what I've learnt in this world, it is either it is a working power plant or a dead one, never heard of an emergency power plant! 1 Like |

@Beaf you have a very difficult job I pity you. If you Principles keep quiet and deliver it would be better for them. If trouble is asleep yanga should leave him alone. See as you don become pariah for nairaland. |

Beaf, don't let this usurping turncoat fool you. He works for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and even got his company, Alpha Beta Consulting, into Apapa ports for the collection of Customs revenue when he was Finance Minister. If he is not removed from office in the next cabinet reshuffle, I'll have to consider that the President is a blind man. Aganga's loyalty is to Aganga only, and whoever he perceives as better able to protect his personal interest. |

Akainzo: For me I am wondering what is an Emergency Power Plant? If not that l know that GEJ "actually" went to school, l would have suggested that he is eccentric and knows not the meaning of words that he speaks! But this Retardeen na PhD holder now? ![]() He has not built one power plant (cant even remember one single project he has accomplished!) in all these Months now he wants to build one in an EMERGENCY? That dude most be high on a mixture of "swamp Ganja and dry fish"! ![]() Lastpage! |

bakila: @Beaf you have a very difficult job I pity you.Sometimes you people sound really foolish. Its like you were born id!ots or something. What is wrong if government plans to build emergency power plants in Lagos? It is witches and wizards who hate good plans. You people don't realise how primitive you sound, thats why you persist in loud displays of gutter breeding and pray only for bad news. SMH. |

lastpage:I am sure you talk to your parents like this. Quite clearly, your rich choice of racist words is affected by your disgraceful upbringing. It is sad when a grown is too ignorant to know what an emergency power plant is, yet can muster words only a gutter breeding could have taught. These days, it is a pride on NL to use ethnically derogatory terms. I don't blame you; as they say, empty barrels make the most noise. |

Beaf: Beaf, please help me with the meaning of what you said above, which one of the instances below is correct? Is it a power plant that you 1. Switched on when you need emergency power in Lagos state? 2. Switched on when there is an emergency in Lagos State. 3. A power plant that that would be built in an emergency in Lagos State? 1 Like |
