However, the Imo State Government is about to give free university education to all indigen of the state come 2012/2013 academic session. Following this, the statistics of JAMB/UTME has placed Imo State University as the fifth most preferred university in Nigeria. prospective students, expect nothing but a stiff competition. please i am an indegene of Ebonyi state and want to study medicine and surgery in Evan Enwerem Univ. does this fact lower my chances of getting admitted ? Also, how reliable and firm and endowed is their college of medicine ? |

Firstly, it is Imo State University and not Evan Enwerem University any longer. Medical college is ok, medicine and surgery is fully accredited therefore you've got nothing to worry about. Performance is the key to get admitted especially in such a course, do your best academically and forget about your state of origin. Goodluck and success to you. |
