Oau admission seekers are the most traumatised set of students dis year after Uniport students nd Unilag students. Uniport students saw a black day after d jungle justice meted on 4 of their students by d Aluu Murderers, but Unilag students were distabilised due to d death of their VC and d unconstitutional renaming of their school identity to Maulag by d confused Uncle Jona. whereas we d admission seekers to Oau are facing some psycological Trauma as a result of being in d dark, anxiety of "it is out, when will it be out". am very sure dat we are really great pple to hav held on to our piece, since March 12 dat d D.e form was released by Jamb, getting transcript from our various schools who are just trying to frustarate us so dat we can stay back, to filling d white but so called green form in Ife, to dis present day October. As we all await dis great list from dis great citadel of learning, Take it or u leave, we are Great people indeed!

Dis wait is really killing.... My friend dat bought his form after mine and I helped him fill and submitted his form has resumed in UNI-ILORIN .... If I knew Ilorin accepts 2nd choice, I would av picked Ilorin but believe me the wait is almost over. I'm applyin for accounting finished from Laspotech with distinction in accounting.... I know GOD will crown our efforts with SUCCESS.........

I've been admission into PolyIbadan for my HND, I guess i Ђåvε to pay for the acceptance fee while waiting for OAU τ̅☺ release their list.

out of my curosity i went toife nov. 1 to check the ad. status the transcript arenow in the faculties and i saw i list tabulated with the jamb details and Q or NQ (meaning qualified or not qualified) i also went to my department to inquire, the guy told me it has not yet reached departments for selection after which after which it would be complied forwarded to abuja for approval and that hopefully in the next 3 or 4wks it would be on internet

Gudday to you all. I was at Ife on Thursday Nov 1st and left Friday Nov 2nd, here are my findings.
Firstly I was @ Elect/Elect Dept (my dept) to see wats happening, meeting d Secretary to d HOD, i gathered dat D HOD has submitted His recommended list for Admission to d Dean (After a long pestering, i gathered dat d Hod has made His own shorlisting which is very 'few', less dan 15 names, although i culdnt see d list ) so i was told to check d dean office because he will still add his, nd other powers dat be. On getting to d Computer Building because d Faculty of Tech is behind d Comp sc/Engineering complex, i stoped @ d Comp sc/Eng HOD's office, didnt meet d Hod but met d Secretary who told me same as d Elect secretary but i learnt dat about 34 names were shortlisted nd hav been sent to d Dean for review nd final Process/Approval (seems d infos are lookin alike, wats surprisin is dat d secretaries we lamentin dat even their candidates were'nt selected, Na wa ooo!). So i got to d Dean secretary's office Room 308, last floor, d woman there told me she had no info as regards d D.E admission but advised i check @ room 308 which i eventually saw d Deans confid. Sec who told d list is about to reach d final stage nd dat it will be uploaded on Net when they are tru, all effort to see d List proved abortive after alot of pleading nd later argument 'cos i got furious, she later allowed me to see d list from d Admission office dat indicated d applicants name, to indicate dat d transcipt reach Ife nd dat they are qualified, but i told her dats of no use to me . But i can confirm dat Chem. Engr. Dept shortlisted just 4 students for admission (cos 2 of my Friends were selected). What i was able to deduce is dat d list is nearing d final stage, Probably Nov ending/Dec, cos d sch is concernd about d 50yrs aniversary nd d NUGA games for now 'cos OAU is wearin a new look (which i dont know if they will still host). You can only hav access to d List if u are well legged, am sure they are hiddin d list because d number of DE admission to Ife dis yr will b limited due to NUC policy on Dept capacity, I can categorically say dat d HOD's of Elect, Comp nd chem. Engnr have submitted their admission recommendation lists through a MEMO to d dean, Faculty of Tech . After a long walk nd wahala, i relaxd @ Forks, nd d zoo where i enjoyed nature seeing d Hyeana, Lion (d Lioness almost gave me a mark near d wire fence, but i escaped using a higher Intuition..... Lol!) nd some animals. Lets all just keep hopin on God, but d fact remains dat admission dis year is takin a new shape, God help us. I Rep. D Great Ife.....
