You are very correct 406 or FOX is the car anyday, especially if youre a long distance traveller.
Transmission, suspension, fuel economy, mantenance, ac system, just name it. The engine system so superb that when ure on 5th gear you think ure still in 2nd gear. You cant miss the unique body design when you come across it on highways even at night the headlamp and foglights announce it majesty as FOX the KING of nigeria roads.
I have been using it for close to 4years now and it has not disappointed me for once.

when you say best cars i expect that aaffordability is also a point. So,
1.corolla any model
2. 406
3. Nissans any model
4.civic any model
5.golf, volkswagens.

Kia is out of it. Lexus, benz, bmw are also very good but the cost of maintainance.

Have you driven any of these cars on long distance? say lagos to maiduguri, gombe or yola nonstop within a day? I have driven all these cars except nissan on the distance i mentioned. The difference is when ure on 160kph upward, the stability of FOX tend to increase especially at bends or when you run into heavy potholes, in fact you'll experience a wavy windy sensation with toyota and honda cars and you'll have to change your driving shafts when you get to your destination.

Oops, I used to think Trucks/SUV's also qualifies as cars. I guess I should lay my 2008 Acura MDX to rest and prolly get a new ''car''.

Peouget 406 (FOX) all the way. The stability is unimaginable. I have pulled a lot of stunt with mine and it never failed me. Taking sharp bends at high speed, 180kph is normal for the fox.The entire built especially the suspensions are designed for Nigerian roads unlike camry. I change my camry suspensions every 6months. The 406 headlamp is the best for night journies on bad roads. I will always have a FOX for rugged journies.
