DP Changes Not Been Effected On All Blackberry Users? by toluxa1(m): 11:03pm On May 06, 2012
I have been getting the following BBM broadcast for some hours now. I initially ignored it until I found out it might be real. I discovered people are not seeing any changes when I change my display picture. And its not only me, I have confirmed from more than 20 people now. Try it and it. Note that you will see the change but others won't.

As with all BCs of this type it is fake. I checked my updates and people are changing their DP successfully.

RIM would never communicate to it's subscribers via bbm. That broadcast is 100% fake, and it was composed by someone that is very very lonely.

I don't know why people spread lame BC around. It is annoying receiving such BC. The question is what way have we been receiving notification for update on BB since? RIM would never do such.....

ITS ALL OVER SKY NEWS BBM is shutting down at 12:00. 0clock tonight if you don't broadcast this you'll loose your contacts Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I'm not taking any chances !!
Message from Jim Balsamic (CEO of RIM Blackberry) we have had an over usage of user names on Blackberry Messenger. We are requesting all users to forward this message to their entire contact list. If you do not forward this message, we will take it as your account is invalid and it will be deleted within the next 48 hours. Please DO NOT ignore this message or blackberry will no longer recognise your pin. If you wish to re-activate your account after it has been deleted, a charge of £25.00 will be added to your monthly bill. We are also aware of the issue involving the pictures updates not showing. We are working diligently at fixing this problem and it will be up and running as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation...by the way this will be the last Broadcast from us.

its really appalling how gullible people who are supposed to have some sort of education can be

this broadcast is at least 3 years old. it floats around the BBM space at least once a year since 2009 and some people still believe it.

Either you update your BBM or you delete it and then reinstall.
