The Yorubas are the masters at copying..

That is Calabar Canival mixed with Rivers State boat regatta
listen carefully you tribalistic mongrel. If You must know ,the Yorubas and Hausas are up and above any other tribe in this country that their cultural festivals attracts massive foreign and local attendance.can't say much about the cannibalistic igbo cultures. The lagos carnival has been on before your father came to Lagos on his community loaned bicycle , and as for the boat regatta, the riverine areas of badagary, epe, Ojo and Ikorodu etc have been celebrating this ,even before the advent of the Europeans. If I were you,I'd start thinking of a festival that will attract world attention like the Okija cannibal festival, son of an invalid.

E-Herbal...

Aint you the guy I bought those fake herbal drugs from two years ago?! I guess you have been self medicating on Dogwoyaro and Cannabis.. You are definitely high on that NAFDAC unapproved fake herbal concotion.

Eyo festival is the last remaining Yoruba festival and it is on its way to the Dogs...
The Hausas I would respect because atleast at the Durbar festival and Argungu fishing festival, I didnt see them dressed up like birthday clowns with multi-coloured outfits and acting a fool. They have guarded their festivals jealously and all the westerners do is take pictures.. The Ofala festival is the same thing, The new yam festival across the Niger Delta and the East is the same thing... The only tribe whose festival have Oyinbos mimicking them in jest is the Yorube peoples festival... WHY?!!

If the Ijaws and riverine communities in Rivers and Bayelsa state are having their War-canoe festivals, all you see are their local masquerades, local attire and customs and tradition on display..

Look at this rubbish?! How do I tell my white friends that this is Nigeria!?

The carnival has been on since which means no be today inferiority complex start to hold una... Get real my friend!! Where are the Agbadaa?! Iro and Bubas?! Women in Aso-ebi?! The satellite dish geles?! You are here justifing Yorubas acting like wanna be carribeans and talking rubbish.. angry

Is you tribal mark internal or what?! angry

Why you dey reason like person wey get tribal mark for brain!!

To those interested in how history ties Brazil and Cuba to Lagos (Yorubas) and some Eastern cities (Igbos), read up on the Saros and Amaros:

one thing I've come to know the igbo man for is this;what they don't have ,they destroy.I can imagine the pain you're going through now.Just two festivals.Ofala and The new Yam festival. What a shame! For your information, retardo ïgnoramus, the eyo festival is not the only Yoruba festival that attracts worldwide patronage and it's not a dying festival.we have the ojudeOba festival,in Ijebu,Osun festival,Kayo Kayo in Epe,Sangbeton in Badagary.etc.These few aforementioned festival has colossal cult followers both home and abroad, and has been studied in foreign universities world over. The yoruba language is being studied in hundreds of universities world over, and we have people coming here to study it in our universities and even speaking it like the aborigines themselves. The igbo race has no existence and are a TABULA RASA(A blank space)when it comes to tracing their history and lineage. The only acceptable theory and thesis world over is their relationship to a particular Gorilla that has gone into extinction, hence they are of no impotance to world history

Lagos Carnival (Caretta) has been celebrated for over a hundred years. To read about the history of Lagos Carnival, read where the funding came from and learn about how the costumes were made by the Lagos Skills Acquisition Centre, click on this link http://www.nairaland.com/910344/easter-monday-pictures-lagos-carnival

It seems like you are very angry; I dont wanna compound your woes 'cos you are too disturbed to make a sound judgement. All hail the yorubas the alfa and omega of the black world! Case closed.

U most be out of ur sens es ... how can u say we don't need carnivals, how else do you want to celebrate your culture, how else do you want to familiarize yourself with other cultures around you.... I'm sure you are those fools that glues their eyes on uefa, whereas the whites are trying to unite their citizens (fans) with their football culture... So tell me, before slave trade, did our forefathers ever play football, yet im sure you are a die hard fan of uefa
