Many Christians do not believe in the inerrancy of the Bible. In fact, I'll say that you do not believe in the inerrancy of the Bible because if you did, you wouldn't be worshiping the Christian God. You say this because it is still a mystery to you what it means to be a Christian despite all the explanation. A Christian believes in the inerrancy of the Scriptures and if you don't that means that you are not a Christian and who told you that the disciples didn't have the Scriptures as their authority?
