I think we are not thinking things right on this forum. Nigeria has had about twelve leaders since independence, and how come all the twelve leaders got it all wrong and failed to place the country on the right path? If all the twelve leaders got it all wrong, how are we sure the next 12 future leaders wouldnt still get it all wrong? If I toss a coin 12 times and get the same face 12 times, dont you think there is something wrong somwhere? Some of us are hoping for a messiah leader to come and deliver us but this doesnt make sense because how sure are we that when the tenure of this messiah leader expires, another chain of 12 irresponsible leaders wouldnt succeed him/her to destroy whatever positive things put in place and take us back to square one?
The bottomline is, its time for us to look beyond the hope of a messiah leader and seek a solution somewhere else. Nigeria's problem is simply beyond leadership. The issue of bad leadership is only the outcome of an ignored root cause.
