iluvnaija: Obviously, those who criticize Buhari were not born when Buhari rule Nigeria. I am really ashamed the way those who think they are graduate of University can not think with their God given brain before writing stuff they have no clue about. I am bold to say I never went to the University but I am far better than many University graduates in Nigeria. No wonder many University graduates can not write a simple formal letter. So when Buhari was fighting corruption while he was importing 53 suitcases of cash on behalf of the Emir of Gwandu at a time his govt had banned movement of currency? See story! You folks can dock and dive, the truth remains what it is. Who is afraid of the truth? Who is scared stiff of truth? The answer is simply, vampires, vultures, hyena's; the enemies of Nigeria. |

Myself2: So much for Mr Integrity,I was never fooled by the numerous pretences of the tyrant,he should first explain what happened to that money before going on national TV to shed crocodile tears Tell them, bro! And this time, we have all the facts to counter them. The blood-thirsty animal, Buhari might have burned all the documents he could find and sacked NTA's Vera Ifudu, but no man man can burn the truth, neither can the truth be sacked. All the accolades for Buharis regime go to General Tunde Idiagbon who took over after the couple of months Buhari took to burn NNPC documents and then announce to Nigeria that he was resigning. Atiku who siezed the 53 suitcases of raw cash, blamed "rude and crude" soldiers sent by Buhari for letting word of the matter slip out. Major Jokolo, Buhari's ADC, the son of the Emir of Gwandu (owner of the 53 suitcases) and the man who was sent to fetch the items from Murtala Muhammed Airport; only disagree's with the number of the suitcases and not much else. Responding, yesterday, Atiku said the issue was well documented in his authorized biography, “Atiku: The Story of Atiku Abubakar” written by Onukaba Adiniyi-Ojo who was at that time The Guardian aviation correspondent and now a top aide of the former Vice-President. |

Beaf: You should go get shots for rabies! According to your post quoted above, Buhari stole 2.8 Billion when Nigeria's budget wasn't even up to 1 billion! From where? You father's village? Plus you also claim he announced he was resigning and Idiagbon took over? WOW - your madness no get pair! You are dishonest, a liar, obviously a thief, criminally minded, low life and an absolute waste of skin - did God create you or is it possible God actually gave GEJ a chance to design something resulting in your brain? Seems GMB is scaring you all so much now that you've thrown all semblance of decency out the window! Luckily and for those who wish the truth, there exists so much free knowledge out there that proves that whist no one is perfect, GMB still remains one of the best examples of a decent straight forward man! You on the other hand remain a mongrel, pathetic and pitiable! There is a saying that some people are so poor that the only thing they have is money - I doubt such as you has even that with this grovelling before ineptitude! Wretch! |

nuclearboy: You are really stup!d indeed and the cross bred product of rabies and a mad woman. But it is known that you guys are unrefined dogs and baboons who live by lies, rumour and threats of bloodshed. 1. Firstly, a judicial panel was set up to trace the $2.8billion (Justice Ayo Irikefe panel). 2. Secondly, a senate committee was also set up to trace the $2.8billion (headed by the elder Saraki). 3. The findings of the senate committee were reported live on NTA by Vera Ifudu. 4. Buhari overthrew the govt to burn and shred the evidence. 5. Buhari got Vera Ifudu sacked. 6. Vera Ifudu and the NTA went to court. 7. Vera Ifudu won her case, got reinstated and was paid compensation. What you have above is a tracable chronology, not some braindead sentiment you plucked out of your lying, stinking arsehole. Court cases cannot been hidden, there are always records. I challenge you to throw away your silly habit of turning to useless sentiment and disprove any of the above with logic. For the 53 suitcases, Atiku is still alive and insistent. So why do you people live a lie? |

At the time Buhari was smuggling in 53 suitcases of raw cash for the Emir of Gwandu, he was also trumping up charges against Fela for bringing a few thousand dollars he had sweated for on a Eauropean tour. Fela was jailed on Buhari's orders, but the conscience of the judge was so weighed down that he visited Fela in jail, apologised and confessed that he acted on orders because Buhari's govt had "decided to deal with this Fela problem once and for all." Re: Explosive! How $2.8bn Disappeared From Midland Bank Under Gen. Buhari by Beaf: 1:07pm On May 17, 2012 |
Rewind... Beasts Of No Nation Beasts of No Nation: Beast of No Nation is the first song Fela wrote in 1986, after he was liberated from prison—serving two years from a five year prison sentence for trumped-up foreign currency violation charges. Everywhere he went after his release, people were asking him what he was going to sing about: ‘Fela wetin you go sing about? Them go worry me!”. People wanted to hear him sing about his prison experience, like he had done with the songs like: Alagbon Close, Kalakuta Show, and Expensive poo. Finally, he decided to sing about the world we live in—with particular reference to Nigeria. He said when he was in prison he called it ‘Inside World’, out of prison he called it ‘Outside World’. But for him it is actually ‘Craze World’. Otherwise, what name can one give a world with: police brutality, army oppression, courts without justice, magistrates who are supposed to uphold the law, obviously seen bending the law to please some special interest. As further proof of the craze world, he sings about the judge who sent him to jail for five years on a trumped up charge, only for the same judge to visit Fela in a prison hospital two years after. The judge apologized, claiming he was under pressure from the government to convict. This could only happen in a Craze World, Fela reasons. It can only be in a craze world that people sit and watch governments shoot down protesting students with impunity, like in Soweto(South Africa), Zaria and Ife(Nigeria). Bearing in mind that Nigeria like all craze world countries, condemn the apartheid regime in South Africa, yet committing crimes against humanity in their respective countries. Turning to another aspect of craze world policy of the Nigerian government. In 1983, the Buhari/Idigabon military regime launched a public campaign dubbed ‘War Against Indiscipline’. This was the regime’s solution to corruption inherent in the Nigerian society. To justify this campaign, the Nigerian head of state, General Buhari and his deputy General Idiagbon publicly used words like: ‘…my people are useless! My people are senseless! My people are indisciplined!’ to describe Nigerian People. For Fela, only in a craze world can such remarks be made. Moreover, such statements could only have come from an ‘animal in human skin’. How could these two animals use such words to qualify a people who feed them? This being so, other leaders from other countries must either be animals themselves to associate with, or accept to co-habit under such an umbrella as the United Nations with a head of state that considers his people useless. Turning to the United Nations, Fela saw it as a majorly unhealthy organization that suffers major inadequacy in its organizational principles. It is absurd to organize the UN principle bodies; the Security Council and the General Assembly, in such an undemocratic manner as one member’s cote can veto the decision of the majority. Is this Democracy? “What is United about the UN?” Fela asked. Thatcher went to war with Argentina over Falkland—yet both counties are members of the world body. Reagan and Libya were at war. Israel versus Lebanon. Iran versus Iraq. East-West cold war. It looks more like a group of disunited nations, so how can such a body work to promote and encourage respect for human rights? For Fela, that is another kind of animal talk. How can people talk about ‘individual’ rights? No one has the right to deprive someone else of what belongs to the individual—only an animal would try to take away another person’s legitimate rights. People who hear Fela say things like this reminded him that he was sent to prison for having such opinions of government. He, in his defense, said it was not him who called members of the UN animals. It was Pik Botha, the former South Africa President at the peak of the anti-apartheid struggle, in reaction to the persistent riots against the racist regime. He came out with a statement that his regime would act more brutally if the riots did not stop: “…this uprising will bring out the beast in us”. Fela’s reminded us that President Reagan advocated: “, constructive engagement with the apartheid regime” among member nations of the UN. The same policy as Mrs. Thatcher – an indication that they were sharing the same friendship and animal characteristics as Botha. If this is so the UN can only be an assembly of Beasts of No Nation. - Mabinuori Kayode Idowu http://www.fela.net/discography/beasts-of-no-nation |

@Beaf Buhari sent many people to jail to teach others a lesson, he might have been aggressive about it, but, he did it with the intention to deter others, the sight of the gallows is meant to focus minds, we need someone to do the same to the looters wasting our commonwealth, infact, compared to the looters we have now, the second republic looters are boy scouts (apologies to Sanusi); if Buhari was a thief, OBJ who does not forgive easily would have buried him immediately he came in, I understand you sha, you need to justify your wages, hopefully when I am in Abuja, we can hook up so I can at least take a bottle of maltina out of the national cake being shared to you. |
