Ok...I have read different post tonguelashing various MOGs of new generation churches and I have this for the MOG haters as I nw fondly call them

1) These MOGs have impacted the Nigerian society and economy in ways better than any political leader have...I once read a post that said Nigerian Pastors/Bishops are no different than the Nigerian politicians in the sense that they enrich themselves by stealing from the poor in d name of tithes and offerings(tax nd dues) but I beg to differ...These Men of God have through their "stolen money" created thousand of jobs for Nigerians. How many new jobs has the 9ja government created for its citizens.Taking Oyedepo(the most tongue bashed MOG on nairaland) as a case study,the man has various buildin projects going on around the country and these provide thousands of jobs(though seasonal)for people.also ,he is an entrepreneur with various business outlets to his credit which include a publishing house,bakery,purewater factory,schools(crossing thru all levels) and most recently,an airline(for which he was almost crucified)...similar business outlets are owned by other churches.

2) A thread was raised about the aforementioned MOG slapping a young lady...BIG DEAL.Any 1 with a strong Christian background wouldn't have held back when the lady said"I AM A WITCH FOR JESUS".Duh!WHAT RELATIONSHIP HAS DARKNESS WITH LIGHT? Besides if U study the bible,u'll see that those kids who laughed at the prophet because he had a bald head were devoured and even when Jesus entered the temple and saw people busing and selling he overturned the tables and chased them out(Only God knows how many people broke their legs and hands or had injuries in the process). In essence all he(Oyedepo) did was defend his Father's honour which I believe any1 of here would do if sme1 dared insult our earthly fathers...

We all come here to judge them like they aren't humans bound to make mistakes...by heavens even T.B Joshua should not be judge...at least not by Man...Can U prove he's a fake,were you there when God called Him,have you caught Him using black magic?if yes where and when?

Believe it or not these men have made their marks and have written their names in the sands of time and they're definitely not affected by ur petty hate posts...fake or real,people have received their miracles,people are receiving their miracles and people will receive their miracles.all it takes is FAITH!

Someone said these MOGs make Him wana stop church and I asked Him "ARE U SERVING THEM OR GOD?".whatever they say on dat alter or in their books be it spiritually inspired or not is not ur biz al U nid do is put them to work in your life and you'll see the effects.

In conclusion,before you start spitting poo about these MOGs,count their mistakes(by ur standard) and count urz. Measure their achievements and urz and list out how they affected the lives of people(and how many people they've affected) and compare it with yours then make your judgement afterwards...CIAO

You are one of the many examples of things that are wrong with Nigeria. Men of God are human beings. They are not exempt from criticism especially when they do wrong.

First of all, even drug dealers and pimps employ people.. So don't come here thinking that job creation makes a man worthy of honor. How does he run his business? How is it financed? Through money gotten from people. And if I contribute money to a project, I expect to benefit from such projects, not treated as a common man, simple.. I've counted mine.. none of them worships me, none of them fell threatened when they criticize me, and best of all.. I DON'T NEED THEIR MONEY TO SURVIVE...
