Has anyone really thought much on why Glo network has 3 diff. configurations (if not more than that) for internet browsing: atleast, I know of Glosecure, Glodirect, Glogwap, Gloflat, etc all with diff APNs, user name & password? While MTN, Airtel & Etisalat have only one each irrespective of customers subcriptions.

Now I noticed a FRAUD lately with Glo free MB. From experience, dis only works with Gloflat data configuration being:
APN: gloflat
User name: flat
Password: flat
Authentication: normal
No proxy settings.

But check it out now, if u try connect with dis configuration, it loads til eternity & never connects. Meanwhile, just make a little switch from Gloflat configuration to any other Glo setting on ur phone, u'll discover it connects within a split of seconds BUT guess what? Ur credit balance is depleting fast.

I saw dis as a fraud & contacted their customer service via e-mail. They replied by asking me 2 send INFO to 127 to obtain auto configuration: thinking it wil be diff frm d one I already have, but just no difference. Contacting them again, their contact person recommended Glogwap & at subsequent response, they said try Glosecure, Glodirect, etc. None of these work on free MB but on my credit balance. So disaappointing.

Does anyone in d house have similar experience? What do we do? Is Glo free MB becoming a fraud indeed? If yes, couldn't it have been better for Glo 2 b silent on d issue of free MB & just leave customers to be prepared to spend their money while browsing than 2 b lure into loading unnecessary credit anticipating free MB only 2 still end up spendin d credit they wouldn't loaded if not for d free MB.

Pls reasosnable comments here on this for d way forward 2 d browsing public.

I feel your pains. I recharged and expected to browse only to have your kind of experience.I guess even their staff are at loss on how to handle this challenge. I prefer my etisalat that gives me genuine MB

Glo is a SCAM... I loaded over N6000 but I didn't get any free browsing MB and the 720 free sms I have can't be used... they are totally fraud

does this place look like Glo customer care area? Call their customer care or go to their office, whatever, just try and contact them so that they can resolve it.
It might be a technical problem on their part.

If after your attempts the issue is not still resolved then you can take other steps.

i think i'm becoming 2 believe Glo is a fraud....

even the paid for mb runs out so fast compared to other networks
