LCC is such a nice place to be. If you go there in the morning, you would enjoy it best. I have seen monkeys, birds and the tortoise. I also remebered seeing a snake. I guess it was a mamba. I have also seen an iguana.
I have this feeling that it is a nice place to hack someone down and burry the body. Of course there's security.

Too much hype on this place, went there some three months ago and was disappointed not what I expected and ofcourse the care takers kept blabbing of all the the animals we were going to see but all I saw were monkeys, no birds, the swamp was dry, no snakes, no antelopes. Beautiful concept it is but they need to do step the place up. Toll fee of N500. Please does anyone know about Old Oyo National park?

Re: Lekki Conservation Centre, Lagos (pictures) by Nobody: 7:17pm On Dec 25, 2012
its along lekki epe expressway. if you driving from ozumba mbadiwe avenue in VI, link the lekki epe expressway directly and continue driving till u get to chevron roundabout. You'll then veer off the expressway few metres after the chevron roundabout via a right turn to connect the main entrace gate of the LCC.

i was there in August. its cool though. N500 gate fee

Hiya [at] joeyfire. Have you gotten a chance to come and check out Lekki Conservation Centre recently? It's really amazing now.
The place has really opened up as a tourist destination. Both the IJGB (I just got back, rich men's children visiting home from the abroad) and the oyibo expat are writing blog post review of the place nearly every weekend.

I'm also writing an article on it (and all the buzz it's getting these days), that's why I'm in the nairaland archives. Just so your comment and thought to let you know the place is doing great now.

I went there recently based on this post; the Canopy walk was crazy but besides that, not much was wowing there.....like they really have a lot to work on there, a whole number of guides should be added there, i didnt even know there was a treehouse till i met some ladies talking about it on my way out, and it was already late, literally.
