We the entire student community of all Niger delta AKA “the izon students’ voice wish to express our greatest regret to the acts and activities of our Honourable Petroleum Minister, The person of Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke. It is pertinent to note that she is from the state of the president and as such expected to protect and help Mr. President in the helm of affairs in the petroleum ministry.
Its imperative to note that the report of Hon. Farouk Lawan on the subsidy matter showcase that the hon. Minister of petroleum is incapable and lacks accountability and transparency. It was on these note that the Niger delta students community AKA the Izon students’ voice wanted to rally round Abuja for the implementation of Hon Farouk Lawan subsidy reports, but to our greatest dismay, the said minister try to use security personnel to deal with the students leaders and their lives were threatened, due to the fear of the security personnel they have to leave Abuja back to their various Universities.
They have also made up their minds to express their views diplomatically by engaging themselves with the media houses and making arrangement with them to express their views in form of a press conference and by carrying out mini campus rallies in their views. An urgent arrangement is presently going on one million students rally targeted for the city of Port harcourt to ones again express their views to the world that the petroleum minister is Beginning and the cause of Nigeria subsidy crisis.
Fellow Nigerians, our dear Izon students and the people of Bayelsa state, please note that there are more than one million and one IZON people that can occupy that our ministerial seat until our so said minister is withdraw from her appointment and let the law take its course in pursuit of the Hon. Farouk Lawan subsidy reports.
