If we read 1thesselonians 5;2-4

New King James Version (NKJV)
2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the
day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the
night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!”
then sudden destruction comes upon them, as
labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they
shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not
in darkness, so that this Day should overtake
you as a thief.

I was surprised to know that when many seek or struggle for absolute peace in this satan ruled world devoid of the thought of Gods kingdom as d only avenue to worlds peace,then it shows the end is near..
Many religious leaders,political leaders and also organisations feel and think world peace can be achieved by humans..little do they know that d ruler of this world is still on rampage..
Its weightless effort when we think peace $ security can be achieved by humans when satan still rules d world..

Also some feel that since d nations they belong to enjoy some form of relative peace,then all is well....and so they become so relaxed that that day takes them unaware

1thesselonians tells us that those who have such mentality will soon experience sudden destruction and there'll be no escape for such ones...

But for any who understands d scriptures would know no human parastatal can bring about world peace but Yahwehs kingdom with his son as king designate..

So when we hear them say "" peace $ security"" we shuld know we are living @ d time of the end....
