Plane Crash Versus Road Traffic Accident(why This Hypocrisy?) by ACM10: 12:35am On Jun 06, 2012
More people die on our roads every year than air. Former Commonwealth Secretary General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku described our roads as "worse than that of war-torn countries". Our roads can be best described as death-traps, especially the roads in eastern, southern and western part of the country. Yet this issue is at the back-burner of government agenda.

Should government concentrate more on improving air safety to the detriment of road safety?

Isn't it a sheer hypocrisy that we are so fixated on plane crash rather than road traffic accidents?

My condolence to the families of those that lost their lives in Dana plane crash.
