Your Take On 'LIBERTY JEEP'

House just wanna know how good a liberty jeep is honest criticism pls.

Had a terrible experience with the 05

Good car but drinks fuel like say tomorrow no dey.Also,naija mecs no sabi to repair the car.My verdict is dont buy

In short form it simply means:

1. For a small car, its a mighty fuel guzzler . 3.7 liter engine.
2. Its an American car for which the parts and engineers are not readily available or when available very expensive.

Go 4 a RAv4 or a honda SUV. This car is been offloaded by the west because its expensive to maintain dts y it is usually cheap.

Advice: Do not buy.

Funny but true

Keep away from them...bottom line keep away from GM cars (American Motors)Jeeps, Chrysler, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Cadillac, Hummer...etc
They are not reliable, expensive to fix, consume loads of fuel & getting parts can be a nightmare experience.

I currently drive a 2004 Liberty sport which I got in november last year,I can confidently tell u that it is a very reliable suv.....I have not had any issues wit it apart from the normal servicing as at when due, very rugged and durable, as for the fuel consumption. It might be a little bit more that the toyota's of this world but is almost on par with the Nissan, and as for the parts being expensive I wouldn't know cos I have not had any reason to change parts..mind u I do a lot of traveling..bottom line is I have had no cause to regret buying my liberty.

I agree with you my brother, my mother also has liberty jeep 2002 model. But its had a grand cherokee emblem on it. People kept telling me its liberty but naïve me, I was in denial. That aside, if its strenght and ruggedness, I give it to the car, durability equals to superb. Service when due. Parts are scarce and expensive. Doesn't really spoil but once it does get ready to make withdrawals frm ur LIBERTY RESERVED ACC. Lol. Ordinary brake pads then was abt 14k. That was wikid

i own 2008 liberty jeep. bought 1yr 5months now and i tell u i have had no reason to regret my decision. if u want to know how good any car / suv is simply google " problems with liberty jeep yr" " problems with nissan murano yr" etc and u get first hand information from people who actually own one not from those i doubt own any".
