Very ugly and old fashioned interior. It will be very good for commercial use like cab service because it's a very strong car that can withstand any terrain. |

bolarine: Its just d size n simply interior, i ve driven the toyota orobo n toyota big daddy, big dad is super on express if u dont run above 150km/h. Anything above dat, it becomes very light n any bump or bad holes on d nigeria road might lead to accident. I had an accident wt mine last year june but because of GOD,the spacious interior n seat belt i escape unhurt. At top speed i.e 160km/h n above, the trunk takes control n car may be swerving in d direction d wind blows its trunk. But other dan this, big daddy toyota is for d big boys with its elegant look, n its easy to maintainat 150 km/hr, any front wheel drive car becomes really difficult to control when u have to swerve to avoid a pot hole or bump. Its not as a result of the big trunk. I have driven mine in excess of 180km severally and i havent got any scratch on it. I absolutely love that car. I recently gave my friend who owns a bmw a fright on the highway. His is a 1.8 litre engine though. but he felt the full power of a 2.4 litre unleashed.  4 Likes |

I'm assuming the BM stil won because you gave him a scare not that you made him change his mind about the BM. The only toyota brand that might come a lil close to the German cars are the Lexus but Alas the MERC is still ahead. I think this particular carmy might be nice to drive but its ugly. I have used this Car for over 2years and Now my Mum is using it for the Third year...the only problem i have had with this car is Change of Front Bumper, Oil Change every 2months, and i haven't changed the shocks but they cost 12k Each, Gearbox 120k and Engine 380k from Edo State (Benin)...i made those inquiries regarding any occurrence but i have never had to change anything in that Car....except my CD player stopped playing CD's of which i had to buy a MP3 player that uses a Flash Drive and just abandoned the CD player. apart from those issues i think that Car is a very good one for an Average Nigerian. 5 Likes |

oludolars:Its no different from each other. The main engines of the two are same 2az-fe 2.4l i4 only the outtake is different due to the nature of the catalytic converter shape and the covering for the catalytic converter in the 2nd picture and the lack of cover for the catalytic converter in the 1st picture. |

I don't just like the "big for nothing" the nickname sound like a empty barrel to me and the car is too common..no prestige or class watsoeva.I prefer Lexus ES330 with all the bells and whistle...but there is a popular notion that it's a rebadged camry... |

Hi All, I'd it advisable to buy a big daddy camry 2006 for 2.2m on higher purchase. Spanning for 1 1/2 yrs.. Please I need answer. The guy said of I'm to pay one off its going to be 1.7m but on a higher purchase he can't go below 2.2m Does it make sense to pay it for 2yrs |

Bro, dnt buy or collect d 2005/2006. It shares d same gear box with the 07 upwards, its a 13pin gear. Costing 250,000 upwards, nd very very sensitive. Basically it spoils easily. The 04 is ok, gear box cost btw 80k nd 100k. Dat gear box is d major headache, and reason y u find so many 07 upwards for sale at ridiculous prices. Avoid it as u wanna use it for transportation, in case of eventualities, would b very very difficult to replace. 1 Like |
