@databoy Nice analysis, you should consider being a Systems Analyst. It seems your a bit confused as to my actual profession... well just say in my day job I'm an IT consultant, apart from my undergrad and postgrad degrees in IT, I'm certified under ISEB,CISA and CISM. My work entails me carrying out Systems Analysis, Systems Integration, Business Process Analysis, Software Testing, Project Management...typical consulting work.

But you see I've got a passion for app development with a heavy emphasis UI/Interface/Prototype design. This is me actually : www.plus36.com.ng.

As for the comparism between the CEO's or trudigits and whogohost , you forgot to mention that the it was CEO of whogohost (Toba Obaniyi) that designed and built Jobberman, from your analysis what would be the best work of the CEO of trudigits (Sawyerr Ken) ? I can answer that for you ...NOTHING !! There is a difference (almighty one) between someone that knows about programming and another person that knows how to design, build and launch successful apps (like jobberman).

As for my association with WHOGOHOST.. well I cant comment on that , but as they say in the hood, they are TESTED and CRESTED !!! I mean look at their portfolio!

@doncigalo, my final diagnosis is that - maybe you are good at what you do or not - e no matter, but you are suffering from inferiority complex.
And you still pee in your panties too and wear a nappy (pampas actually). Sad but true. . . .

@dafthml What doesnt matter ?? That your good at what you do ?? My days...you've lost it mate. Your really are not in touch with reality. You need to find some work, cuz this self delusion of yours is really not helping you.

I've been following the likes of you on this forum, and your comments especially in relation to your clients, is that your clients are your personal piggy bank (I dont care as long as the money flows..thats a comment of yours). That is why you produce low quality work.

Your frustration is now beginning to show, you insult the owner of this forum constantly badgering on how Nairaland is a flop and what not, you piggy back on other peoples company, you constantly shoot down the young web developers that are upcoming, you claim to do projects (e.g interswitch)... I mean who do you think you are ? Look at your shabby website..your a hack !! As long as I am on this forum, I promise to constantly expose you and your lapdogs !!

Your cassava chipping idea isnt that bad, I heard that Fashola has even opened a garri processing unit in Lagos, take advantage of that amigo...DHTML EXTREME GARRI ! Not a bad name ... But the thing is with people like you, no matter what you venture into , it will always flop.

@doncigalo,
There is one thing i have learned from this thread and i will like to share it with us.(esp you in particular).
people know Sawyerr Ken (A.K.A Dual Core) NOT Trudigits. consider the following companies and their CEO's.

Bill Gates = Microsoft
Steve Jobs = Apple
Larry Page= Google
Henry Ford = Ford Motor Company
Mark Zuckerberg = Facebook
Seun Osewa = Nairaland
T.B Joshua = The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (no offense)

The brand personality of a CEO is what drives his company.
who is driving Whogohost?

I don't know Trudigits, but i know Sawyerr Ken (A.K.A Dual Core).

@Dhtml, what is your stake on what i have learnt?

doncigalo: @routick TOBA OBANIYI, remember that name brev, he is the brains behind jobberman.

@doncigalo, Toba is the brain behind an app called jobberman - Great! Dual core is someone i can call a professional in Linux Server administration. It means he is a master of the act. Trust me, there are few of them like him in Nigeria. Thats his specialty and i respect him for that.

Creating jobberman does not make Toba a hero cos a whole lot of programmers can do something like that, he is just lucky to get the contract. That said, he is a good webhost cos being in the webhosting business since 2008/09 means he knows what he is doing.

Toba Obaniyi - App development /webhost ===== specialty.

Sawyerr Ken - Programmer/ Linux server administrator ====== specialty.

DHTML - programmer (open source freak) ======= specialty.

Daniel Isa (doncigalo) - Systems Analysis, Systems Integration, Business Process Analysis, Software Testing, Project Management...passion for App development with a heavy emphasis UI/Interface/Prototype design ======= too bogus to be called a specialty.

I cant deny the fact that you are knowledgeable, but we dont know what you specialize in. And i believe a consultant should be someone who is an expert in a particular field. So why the fighting and harsh words? DHTML talks alot but he is good at what he does, We know what he does. What do you actually do?

undecided holy crap. Una still de this matter.. K lets put it straight. Someone just type "trudigists" on google and tell me what you see. Another type "whogohost" and tell me what you see. Make a comparism with both been talked online the most. It is a good seeing Nigerians coming up with new ideas but very wrong comparing an elephant with an ant. Trudigists is a new born hosting company and it's really annoying seeing it getting higher votes from ghost voters ahead of almighty whogohost.. Even unborn babies are shouting whogohost in thier mother's womb.

@netghost Nice to see that you've put a leash on your mouth. Good Boi! Anger issues?? if I had any believe me I won’t be where I am today.

Funny...This thread seems to be going no where... honestly can’t remember the last time I actively posted on NL...I am interested in using the best host even if the servers are hosted in hellfire, Mochahost.com, Syskay.com, godaddy and all its resellers are currently the most useless hosting companies in the world.. I don’t care what any other person has to say...when I am done with my assessment of whogohost... I will drop my review. With regards to the anger issue am glad u don’t have one but u seem to lack thought control, u just post whatever comes to your mind regardless of who it affects... Everyone is entitled to an opinion that does not make all opinions worthy of sharing....most of the time it’s not what is said but how it’s said.

doncigalo:
@databoy247 Less I forget, It’s actually a shame that you consider dafthtml to be a programmer (don’t deceive yourself he is not), heres a role model that you should try to emulate: omo_to_dun, search him out on this forum. His code is like poetry!! He is the ONLY programmer on this forum, take it from me. The remaining are just hacks.

since when did active coding on NL become a criteria for choosing programmers...Omotodun is good, but telling me DHTML is a hack...I might actually doubt your coding abilities...I don’t understand the personal beef between you and him but that should not cloud the judgment of anyone

@netghost Well said, well said . My apologies then. But concerning he who must not be named, it is his overall work ethics and approach towards his client that makes me classify him as a hack. He thinks his clients are his personal piggy bank, you should go through his previous threads and post and you will be amazed by what he says. He outright classifies them as mugu and is known for this particular statement : I dont care as long as the money comes in .

Also he keeps picking on upcoming developers and designers, he loves to haze them, the last straw for me is his negative posts about nairaland a couple of weeks back. Go through his ealier posts and thread and you will see where I coming from.

I dont understand this last part of your post. Is the post implying that he likes belittling upcoming developers and designers and hate on them?

If thats what you meant by it then am truly surprised because your own comments on "upcoming designers" have been the harshest and most heartless on this forum.

Am not holding brief for dhtml though . Just making an observation.

Honestly, I think this thread has taken a very embarrassing turn and its not funny anymore....

Everyone needs to sheath the swords

Obviously!! By nairaland PDP politicians grin Lets just hope trudigits paid for this advert because if they do, I think I kinda respect nairaland to some extent though for not making it looks completely like an advert. But that poll result still hurts
Re: Trudigits: My Best Nigerian Web Host Ever by Nobody: 5:35am On Jun 16, 2012
This is getting more and more hilarious here - obviously, this guy must be talking about anoda dhtml - because i cannot count all the developers i have helped one way or the other on this board.
And the said .net has helped many beginners too - this guy is on his own (he is delusional - grandiose delusions too).

@docigalo, I also recently did the drupal plugins for afrisoft, tell me, what have you contributed to this great forum and to the work of developers on this forum?
The thing is, I have contributed so much to this board and helped countless people, that is why all this attempts to try to make me look bad is falling back on you.

But u ave got nothing to show, other than fooolishness.

Will be a good idea to create your own thread for a change. . .
Re: Trudigits: My Best Nigerian Web Host Ever by Nobody: 8:40am On Jun 16, 2012
And also doncigalo. I believe I am one of those that have created tutorial threads the most on the webmasters board talkless of solving programming challenges for many developers at various levels.
No need to start mentioning names - but people ave not forgotten.
You can say that my site looks crappy. But it has loads of benefits and is very useful for a lot of developers - and am making an even better one.

And yes, I have my bad sides too - am not too good at keeping rules, I rigg polls just for the fun of it, I have over 1000 nairaland accounts, I talk a lot, insult a little - yeah, your head is full-dust (but that is true isn't it)

So what have you got? Other than trying to make others look bad! You got nothing!

Let's not talk about qualifications because we wil stil floor you anyway.

Even I wil not want to tackle yawatide, dual core, and others like that.

But you are trying to prove your point, and in the process, you have made yourself to be bleating like a she-goat. Really bad man.

You remind me of primary school days - doncigalo, you dey gbongbolo cigar!!

databoy247: Lets look at whogohost.com

Toba Obaniyi (Owner) -

Graduated in 2008 from Obafemi Awolowo University, and studied Electrical Engineering.
Some of the sites he designed like http://rccfabia.org, DailySoccerGist.com are not running (what happened?).

His personal blog is http://tobaniyi..com.

He loves PHP server side scripts, JQuery, MySQL database and WordPress. Been doing programming and web designing probably since 2007.

I thought Daniel Isa aka doncigalo (i dont know if i got the name right) was the owner of whogohost, buh he is not (although from my own investigations, he is a good programmer and very good with MySQL and windows server, but he is not a specialist in a particular area sha,i dont know why). I think the owner of whogohost from my own investigation has a good profile but it cannot be compared to Sawyerr Ken (Trudigits), cos he definitely has more experience not just in programming but in Linux server administration. My 2 cents.

Hello all,

Just want to shed some light. Toba Obaniyi DOES NOT own WhoGoHost.com and this profile is way outdated smiley. So your investigations are incomplete

Same happened to me too. Their customer service sucks. Must you call them to reach them? Hec.k, i even sent a text but no response also. Pheew!

@databoy247: You did get a response. Just check your phone. I also noticed that some people tried initiating a chat between 14 June 7:42PM and 15 June 12:16AM but didn't get any response because we did not get their chat prompts. This was a one time case and I don't think that implies that WhoGoHost's customer service sucks. Kindly confirm that you got the text message with an apology and an explanation as your story isn't complete without it smiley

Interesting, so doncigalo does not even know this. This thread is getting over-interesting sef.

In terms of qualifications I DARE you to even try ! Till then enjoy your guguru and epa!! Broke Arse !
Re: Trudigits: My Best Nigerian Web Host Ever by bigx(m): 2:00pm On Jun 16, 2012
Dual Core:

Thanks,
Its exactly the same problem the other client has when using the plugin. The script breaks when he enters the license key. I will contact Leke later today to know if its something they can fix from their end or we have to change some configurations on our servers.

In the interim, the workaround to this will be to directly insert the license key into the database using a tool like PHPMyAdmin, found in your cPanel Control Panel.

A notification will be sent out to all clients once this is fixed.

Thanks again.

=========
Update:
I talked with Leke and there's good news for TruDigits clients who rely on Afrisoft Plugin smiley

Well the problem:
The present version of the plugin uses a php function that is turned off on all TruDigits servers (mandatory on Shared servers) so it breaks the script when that function is called. That function is turned off as part of the security protocols on all TD servers.

The Fix:
Afrisoft has already taken care of this in the next version of the plugin by creating diversions to other functions if that function is disabled (function_exists()). I have no details as to this new version but I am sure it will be released pretty soon.

Let's exercise some patience. smiley

Or in the Alternative, Install the PHP module Zip in the server by recompiling PHP and Apache in the server, then enable error_reporting() in the server by enabling the same in the PHP.ini file.

If they no longer have issues after that say thanks wink

& by the way, this thread has outlived its usefulness.
It should be closed now.

Hello Bigx, thanks smiley

Actually the problem is now known and there is a server config solution and a coding solution. I cannot approve of the server solution as it has negative security implications to all users of the servers where the solution is implemented. Version 3 of the plugin as said by its owners takes care of the solution from the coding.
