Chelsea will appoint Roberto Di Matteo as permanent coach this week after former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola rejected the job, the Daily Mirror reported. Interim manager Di Matteo led Chelsea to its first Champions League title last month. Guardiola left Barcelona after last season, saying he wanted a break from soccer.
