THE Vice Chancellor of Lagos State
University, Prof. John Oladapo
Obafunwa, has said 27,087
graduands would be awarded
certificates tomorrow and on
Thursday at its 17th convocation.
Forty-one of the 27,087
graduands have first class
honours, 2,832 made second
class upper division, 14,922 had
second class lower division, 4100
have third class honours while
140 made pass grade.
The event would feature the
award of first degrees and
diplomas tomorrow and higher
degrees on Thursday.
Obafunwa said certificates for
both internal and external
students, who had met the
requirements for the award of
first degrees, higher degrees and
diplomas for the 2008/2009
academic session, 2009/2010
and 2010/2011 were ready for
collection.
He said since he assumed office,
6,636 outstanding certificates
had been signed aside the
27,087 for the present set of
graduands.
He urged past students of LASU
to access their results online,
fulfill the requirements and
proceed for the collection.

govt fashola is expected to visit the campus today amidst tight security as i type.wishing myself and other lasuite on n.l a happy celebration.
