Well, since we all can't afford brand new cars, second hand cars ain't much of choice and you certainly could get a good bargain. |

@ sirMethod u are right, some second hand are better than toks just as some toks are better than Chinese brand new. I bought a Civic second hand and never had any isseu. I have only changed two tyres and battery nothing else. It is better than my 9 months old 99 camry bought toks. There are good registered cars out there, with luck u can get one. Even toks is luck. I sold a perfect registered 01 Camry here last week, the lucky buyer knew he bought a good car. |

I'm a little confused here. What exactly is the difference between 'tokumbo' vehicles and 'secondhand' ones? 1 Like |

Buying second hand vehicles is not too bad , but before you buy it try to find out the location where the owner lives and if you can find out if his working place is also around a good road area that will also help coz if na abule egba , ijoko , sango otta and other rough places you won't enjoy the car and another is if the owner is a female |

Tokunbo cars ar driven abroad, while second hand cars r drivin in *NG*,...but sum 2nd hand cars r tighter dan sum tokubo onces,..wat u hav to luk out wen buyin 2nd hand vehicles is de engine,...if de mileage is low and the car dosent smoke ,..den ur good 2 go,...jst listen to de sound of de engine and luk @ de exhaust to make sure no tick black smoke cums out wen firing de car,..dat means de piston and rings in de car is ok,..we all knw piston and rings make de engines,...anyways I got a kia sorento jeep in port harcourt for sale manual drive V4 engine @ 950k slightly negotiable,it ws bought brand new and used for abt 2 yrs,..see pic below and contact john 08067880681 if interested..minor wrk to be done like refilling a/c gas and changing of plugs,..de owner wants to sell cuz she gat other jeeps. many factors may affect this, in most casses some people hit small money the next thing you hear is the person has gotten a car and after two or three months he is broke, so what will be next line of call ? he will have to sell his car. nigerian used cars or tokunbo the chice is the amount of money, choice and your taste. |

@ojmaroni, That Sorento must have been used for car hire. It is rare for a car to acquire 84k KM/50k MILES within two years in Nigeria. And it is owned by a woman. Pls do your homework. I never wanted to spoil ur market. Just my observation. |
