When I hear ow pple suffer @ their ppa s me I almost wondering. I'm serving in ogun UNAAB to be precise and I jst dey show face after which by 2pm I don disappear. I even one start to dey miss some days sef. I'm just waiting for the one year to end...Meanwhile I'm prepping for GRE

abbeyfx2: I am currently serving in Ogun and I must confess the experience has been terrible for redeployed corp members. Since Feb till date we have not been paid a single kobo. Ppl tht saw aleart amongst us got paid for only last month. Did I mention that Ogun state Nysc pays #19600 instead of #19800? It wld pay you better to get a good private school atleast that way u are gurranteed extra pay appart frm fed. Cus state wont give you poo! Least I forget, you would need to rent you own house and pay bills like normal worker if u no get relatives there and belive me, it aint cheap.

Yes ogun pays 19800 now! Tht is cus there ws a reshuffling and change of management staffs. I ws not paid till d last month but I sha got all all ma doug. They fixed it and kept sayin its a prob frm abuja. Silly ppl.

salvo583: Serving in ogun state is full of ups n down. I am serving presently in sagamu,and this town can boast of mushrooms secondary schls. I happen to b posted to one of this mushrooms secondary schls in sagamu that you have to work like crazy. Imagine a schl witout a time table. No teachers in d schl, buh the schl cn boast of 7 corpers taking not less than 3 subjects and rounding classes from 8am to 2pm everyday.

Well, so far Ogun has been nice to us, dependin on d LGA u r posted to sha. Heard Riverside areas r havin a lot of discomfort. Anyways, my ppa is a private sch @Ibafo nd pay 10k plus our normal allawie 19.8k. Isn't dt swt? Bt I tell u my brother, am workin my anus out! Only me Physics(SS1), T/D(SS1), FurtherMaths(SS1), nd IntroTech(JS3). Whn I heard of my other colleague's pay nd their own work load...I thnk God 4 my life say dm send me go sch way na SS1 b d highest class. So d pay is quite ok compared 2others.
@poster, jst prayer u r posted 2 a nice place whr d admin wnt gv u headaches because right nw, my HM is driving me crazy!

now that's what we are talking about mehn! i stay at Arepo, just before MFM Camp, a stone throw from Ibafo. Me sha no gri stay house cos i want 2 xperience service outside home. So i lied to me PPA people say i dy stay deep deep inside Lag (na Ikorodu far pass abi?) LOL so dy gave me accommodation in no tym bt unfortunately light neva reach d area I dy manage am lyk dt cos d babes there dy keep me company as usual. Story of my LIFE gan ni!

mehn! I seriously wanna serve in Ogun State. With God on my side I hope to get it come July next year. I wrote my last paper on 2nd November this year which means logically, I should serve in March but we all know how lazy and uninterested our H.O.D's are in compiling results. SMH

I intend to work my NYSC to ogun. Am 4rm d East nd wonder how accomodating d pple r. Hope they treat strangers well
