Meebo, the chat and publishers tools company that Google acquired for roughly $100 million, is going to see most of its products shut down next month. That includes Meebo Messenger, the sharing widgets and mobile apps.

The one major product that will keep running is that Meebo Bar. (Yes, that one.) Haters aside, Meebo Bar does actually generate some meaningful revenue for publishers, but it sometimes irks visitors with ads that pop up from the bottom, left-hand side of the page. All of the products, except for the bar, will go down on July 11.
Also, meebo messenger will shut down beginning July 11

Th other day I received an alert that Google has bought over Quickoffice - d'you guys know that company that makes apps for smartphones, yeah, that is it. Now they bought meebo. Facebook bought snaptu and rendered it useless and unusable for guys. I'm putting out news now! I go swear for anybody wey dey try to buy opera mini, either partly or wholly, in order to destroy it and/or start to sell the opera application instead of making it free as it has hitherto been, or even trying to make guys to pay for accessing any of its services with the aim of making money thereof, I hereby curse.

The owners of Kalahari wanted to buy nairaland for that price but he refused.

Seun saying he wanted to sell nairaland for 25billion was just another way of saying he didn't want to sell it. Remember that was during the Soluso's 25Billion bank recapitalization. Seun said he wanted to open his own bank.
