emmysenior: As much as I'm eager to see the shameful end to bh as a group and their terrorism, I don't want the involvement of the US govt. in our nation affairs all in the name of intervention. Their impact in the middle east has destroyed & shattered the image of them (middle east countries).

No, what has destroyed their image is the same ish in which has and continues to destroy the image of Northern Nigeria. Same ish, different nation.

robert2051;
wilkz, this show of concern or from U.S. legislature predominantly & the consequent slapping of "terrorist" label on the 3 b/h individuals by the state department is a well thought out concept, in that, too much recognition of the group would give them adherents, at the same time to say or do nothing would be like travelling to sunny "Rio De Janiero" when your back yard's on fire.
You know it's official, "Brazil calls of Nigeria freindly over bomb threats".
These actions speak to somebody oh!

They are the chief sponsors.

Don't worry about that, just because they didn't mention their names it doesn't mean that they too will not be dealt with. Remember that the US gov. is professional and will not release information in which will jeopardize their plans to achieve their end goal, thus there is a clear and unobvious reason why they didn't name every top ranking individual who they'll be targeting. Just sit back an watch how the pros handle business. Soon there'll be a bunch of big things popping and lil things stopping. cheesy

double j1:

are you human at all? So you are justifying the killings done by american in afganistan? Have you ever thought of how it the country was before and how it is now? Have you ever thought of the damage that has been done to their land? Or is it because the americans are hiding the terrible things the have caused from the media? Is it not thesame america that their citizen can never be killed in another country even if he was caught killing another person?
No matter how thirsty you are you should neer drink from a womans pot who wish you evil.

Spare us the meaningless sermon and go ask these boko haram militants the same question. Which kind of damage can the US government inflict on Nigeria that the Nigerian executives,legislature and judiciary haven't done and even surpassed already,talk less of the poo that threatens to hit the Nigerian fan everytime Boko haram makes a successful hit? We're talking about a terrorist group whom we might not be able to fight effectively for donkeys years given the current disposition assumed by the President of Nigeria. Its you,i should rather ask if you're human cuz you sound like a person who'd gladly hand over a member of his family to be bombed by Bok haram in exchange for the Nigerian government's exclusive ownership of the oil products it produces.i.e if that's not already the status quo. The academics experts on Africa that are dissuading the Obama-led govt from making noise over this are very right and should be listened to. I am also of that opinion that they not be given such publicity that can escalate things stupidly. Is it that thing about men that makes them stubborn sometimes? If the US shouts BH on top of the roof tomorrow morning, believe me that before the night comes that the new converts will have multiplied more than a thousand fold, with many getting moved by a fr*aking desire to be at war with the almighty US and even the hearts of some of them gladdening up because the US paid them a mind.grin grin Seriously!

I appreciate the effort the US are making on human rights and freedom to the world but sometimes when they make some mistakes that only spurs on their enemies and escalates hatred for them, I wonder why they make such cheap mistakes. Stuffs like giving publicity to things that should not be made public like they have been doing on their recent two wars etc talking about it on and on------there was a time I got real sick with the US always uttering "terrorist" and having people living in fear etc. There are things that deserve to be kept mute over while at the same time working on that issue underground, that way you don't draw unnecessary attention to the issue or have the issue grow wing and get spurred on and more inspired by the attention.

They shouldn't act before they think and have the BHs on us like Bees because we are the ones that will bear the blunt of that even when their intention to help is good.
