FINA4804: On all milk the instructions is discard after 4weeks, some will say 31days so no matter the milk you must finish it before 1month.

From experience I make sure it gets to one month because the milk I am using is quit expensive. Like I said if you want to follow instructions it will last for one month.

wen u put d milk, mix it thoroughly so it dissolves well.Dont mk d pap too light, just smwhr btwn light and thick

there re a variety of things to try out. u can blend fruits, mix wt formular and gv him. u can also buy a diff type of cereal dan cerelac(there re a lot) then gv him adult food too.Just so dat he ll hv different tastes

It is dependent on the directions on the tin of your formula.

Aptamil does 1scoop to 1oz of water
Enfamil does 1 scoop to 2oz of water

My advice - Make the pap thick at first, like you want to take it. Then mix formula according to the manufacturer's directions. Now pour this formula into the thick pap...that way, the milk will thin it out.

If you make it thin already, and add the prepared formula again, it will be too thin.

Pls don't mise formula for your baby, they need it and should supply a bulk percentage of your baby's total dietary needs. Even if it is the cheapest formula you can buy, it is still better than him/her not getting enough.

Pap is not nutritionaly complete for a growing baby, no matter how many additives you add to it. Your baby needs IRON, DHA, CHOLINE, AA, and MANY other things which pap or soya whatever does not contain.

Go to this website - homemadebabyfoods.com ....there are many recipes for home made foods. If you can't afford the imported Cerelac, the Nigerian cerelac will do. You can also buy gerber rice cereal...rice cereal contains a lot of Iron that they need. It is 750-800, but lasts about 2 weeks or more, as they only need a few scoops per day.

There are many cheap and decent quality baby foods out there...just do your search. Don't malnourish your baby because of a few hundreds of Naira.

You can mix it with anything he eats, just as you are already doing. Make beans for him, veryyy soft, almost a puree and add formula. You can also make mashed potatoes and add formula.

That way, you will realise that at the end of the day, he will be getting the required amount of milk he needs.
