@first timer,babies chnge overtime,3 to 4 times daily for an exclusively breastfed 3 months old is normal,let me guess,u may notice some melonish lookin stuff in d poo rte?..continue 2 enjoy motherhood dear,d Lord is our strength

You will have to try to force the drug for her. Try talk to some elderly women around you to show you how to gag down drugs for baby.its very important she takes the drugs.i suscribe to this than force feesing.since she has been administered drugs,she will be fine.the cough and catarrh are prolly teething signs and i think thats why the doc didnt prescribe anything.

hello,my dear,I would like to dis for him as it will help him to gain weight more and also knw some taste,I never start giving him adult food yet,I once gived him adult food and he vomited it,I'm tired of him eating only cerelac ,dats why I wanna also try dat for him,as for the groundnut,hope it won't make my baby to purge,and pls can u tell me how many measurement of groundnut,soyabeans,dry fish and soyabeans I need to buy in d market to mixed together,and hope there is no harm in giving babies d whole ingredients mixed with pap,I think I'm gonna be giving d pap with cerelac for my baby,so it won't be only cerelac he is eating,if he like d taste of d pap vry well,maam,pls reply me back,God bless u

@mojAyo,I buy a derica of groundnut,more of d soyabeans,about 3 derica,about 200 naira crayfish and same of dry fish..yes u can still add baby formular as ur baby is 10months already sef,as 4 me my kids dint like me adding baby formular bt I startd adding wen dey were older lik 8months because dey startd tolerating formular and I wasn't adding gnut,caryfish n dry fish again as dey were eating every adult food well..THERE IS NO HARM ADDING ALL 2 UR BABY's PAP..and pls start giving ur baby adult food,he needs it 2 meet up his nutritional requirement evn if its in small qty,d cerelac isn't enuf,u can make egg custard 4 him,give him finger foods lik sweet potatoes,allow him 2 pick n eat himsef,u can make ewedu wt titus fish wt semo(watery 4 a start),let d ewedu b much and feed him witout force,he may take about 4 spoons 4 d first time which is ok,he wil increase gradually,once u notice he likes d ewedu,add it 2 almost all his food den u gradually withdraw it once he starts eating well,dice fruits 4 him,put in his plate and let him pick n eat himself..so many tins u can gv..pls make eating time fun.God bless us

@firstimer,the likely thing dt caused d greenish stool is dt he/she dint empty one breast before he stopped feeding,I mean he took the for milk which normally have lots of lactose dt he can't tolerates and it can also make d poo 2 b explosive,make sure he doesn't only take d fore milk(watery milk dt comes out first),ensure he empties one breast before chnging 2 anoda..continue EBF,ur baby is very fine.dnt be surprised d frequent stoolin may last till he clocks 4 months.pls update us as it goes

Tanx a lot dear I tried given him d pap bt watery mixed wit nan1 and crayfish he took it lik and he dnt cry for more food and he slept for hrs so wen he woke up I tried given him naN without pap my baby refuse it until I added pap o. And since 2days now I avnt see any allergic or side effect on him.

its okay to put breasst milk in babies' eyes. My baby was severely jaundiced at birth. His eyes were so yellowish even after staying in phototherapy for almost a week. So, my mum told me to do dat, which i did. His eyes are very white now.

from my experience oka is real. Not an ailment but part of delivery process.
Its hs nothing to do with sleep its just d skull closing up. Pls dont fret.
Put ur hand on ur babys' head and trace it from d front (forehead or d soft spot)straight to d back (d neck @ d back) to knw hw wide it is. From experience with my baby i noticed she poops little poops alot.
Dont let anyone tell u to give him agbo to drink.
Here is what i did. Go to elewe omo n ask for 'oka'. There is a number for boys- i think 5 not sure anymore. When u buy it, soak it in water for 3days. After d 3rd day, scoop d water with ur hand n wash his head 3ce. Pls do not give him to drink.
Another option is for u to get silverbird n mix with ur babys oil. Apply it to his soft spot n cover his head. This also helps with cold n catarh. In my own case, i did both for faster result.

Thanks for the info @omogemi. Attached is the one I got for my baby girl. The mama told me it's 7 for baby girl and 9 for baby boy.

Your baby is overdue for adult food o. Don't be discouraged, just keep trying different things. Just make sure they r soft and mashed. Try soft amala, semo. Try mashed yam,sweet potatoes, irish potatoes,indomie, titus fish, eggs, oat, custard, fruits. Just try and give him little of wot u eat. Bt make sure its soft n mashed so it doesn't choke him.
