Please I saw my period two weeks ago (I gave birth in February). This evening I saw discharge on my pant.. But its blood tinged discharge. More brownish than red. What could this mean.

Your hormones are still in the process of getting balanced after childbirth so just relax.
panty liners will become one accessory you will enjoy using now as a result of discharges.
see enh....your body has changed. just be observing it so you get used to the new phase.
If you still have more concerns based on what you observe, speak to your doctor to explain better.

cheers

Any more questions?

Dunno yet. I tried giving her egg vegetable sauce last night and she refused, she ate the cooked potato and unripe plantain very well but screamed like I want to poison her when I gave her the sauce. Her shakara can too much, someone that'll eat chin chin, groundnut, tiger nut even fried breadfruit but will be doing shakara for food.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. We are on exclusive for now wanted to know the right time to introduce puree

Akorkor:

It is highly recommended to start any form of puree at 6 month because that is when your LO intestine can process some food to some extent. You may give your child formula or water during the six month if she is a heavy eater. Also, if you can do exclusive good but if you cannot, mix with formula. Once you introduced formula you have to start giving water.

Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Ilyfavoured: 6:19am On Apr 21, 2018
Thanks but did the puree replace cow milk? i.e. babies were on breast milk and puree alone. Sorry for the plenty questions

suremum:

I live abroad and we are encouraged to do exclusive for 6 months although i know some people who started giving purees at 4months cos they felt baby was ready(good head control, can decline food when satisfied, can sit upright etc) and not satisfied with only breast milk but all in all exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months it is.

Remnants maybe. Your body is still healing and cleaning plus hormonal imbalance. My lochia lasted 7 weeks which round off with what I thought was my period. 17 wks pp still no sign of period again. If you are feeding exclusively maybe it wasn't your period just some hormones playing around grin but for the discharge welcome on board. If it has a foul odour consult your doctor the colour may range from red, black, brown, green, yellow.......see your doctor if odd colours persist

It's heat rash, try baby tribotan cream, works great and always dress her up in light clothing during the day

Hahahaha, please dont DHL him ooo. Boys are usually very clingy. DS and I practically share my phone too. I downloaded some nursery ryhmes from Chuchutv. so he was dragging the phone. Right now,he only drags the phone when he wants to watch or when he wants to "make a phone call" or play with the flashlight. lol....as for crawling, that was how we started too. We did reverse till we graduated to one leg forward crawling and now at 11 months trying to take some steps. Don't worry momma, enjoy the moment grin grin
Thanks so much ma'am, checking d chuchutv out now

So a baby can actually walk without learning to stand cheesy grin grin

Zizi have surprised me today!
Took his first steps while pursuing a goat.
He was actually holding my hands doing the chasing, I had things doing so I let him hold to a plastic chair for sometime while I did my thing. Lo and behold, he left the chair and started walking towards the goat! He took about 7steps and I was already scared, I had to rush and pick him up... Awnnn na to buy goat keep for house sure pass grin

thanks mamas.

I'm not feeding exclusively, although I give formula just once or twice daily. I'm very certain what I saw two weeks ago was my period.

This brown discharge is not foul smelling. It isn't even smelling, but I'm just worried especially that It stopped that yesterday, and the spotting is back again this afternoon. Brown blood.

Funny enough, this is the way my period started two weeks ago, I first spotted brown black blood for two days before real red period began. I hope this is not period, cos its just about 14 days

it could be period. I remember there were times I had my period twice within a month as well. I only made sure to note it down so I can report any anomaly.
now, that has stopped but period now shows for 4days as against 5days pre childbirth.
In all, your body is gradually adjusting.

cheers
