He's crying because he is hungry. Kindly introduce formula. There are several brands in the market but personally I stick to Aptamil.

You also need to rest, relax and be happy as this will also help your milk production. Introduce formula, this will fill him up. Try and sleep whilst he's sleeping. In between feeds or when you are relaxed (for example while watching tv), keep breastfeeding him.

To avoid constipation, you have to give him warm water at least once a day. I also go a scoop less than the recommended guide on the tin. For example, if 6 scoops of formula is recommended for 200ml of water, I use 5.

Don't forget that hygenine has to be top notch with bottle feeding. Bottles, teats, et al must always be sterilised. Use a separate sponge (not the 'general' kitchen sponge) when washing them and make sure the sponge is kept separately to avoid any mixup. Always use boiled water (irrespective of whether or not it's bottled water from a reputable brand). Left over milk must be discarded. Bottles must be washed with soap and water and sterilised before the next use.

I had a growth on my episiotomy site.it looked like a boil but was red and tender and bleeds whenever I pressed. The doctor prescribed vit c and antibiotics for me. Also asked me to apply to 6x daily. It opened after 2 days and turns out it was cos my body rejected a stitch(the knoted end). My dh helped me remove the stitch, it took two weeks for the growth to completely disappear. What options did your gynae give u

d doc said his weight is quite OK, he was 3.4kg@ birth,2.9kg at 10days then @ 5 weeks 4.2kg

I was given a weeks supply of amoxicillin capsules to be taken 3x daily. I was also asked to apply TCP 6x daily. That stuff is quite painful. I didn't get myself until I removed the rejected stitch.the doctor named it "healing by secondary intention". You can Google it and see if the symptoms match urs.

Had the same issue,so painful I couldn't allow my gynae touch me inside there at 6 wks qppontment ,I was sent to the theatre immediately. In less than 20 min he was thru with cutting it off,I didn't feel any pain whatsoever just some slight discomfort on that day only.by the next day I had no pain anymore.
If that's the option just do it so u can have your peace.sorry

Sorry dear. If you are sure it's boil, then Ampiclox takes care of mild cases. You have to take it 6hourly for 1week.

Boil? Or Mastitis? This sounds like a case for the Doctor. Best check prices on formula as I think they may prescribe certain Antibiotics and you can't breastfeed on most antibiotics. Don't pierce it abeg.

You are either headed to a Dermatologist or a Theatre room, sorry dear. They have to cut it off. But ask them because there's a cream that helps with itching recovering wounds or whip some up (there used to be a recipe I've seen around..)
