The first one is better though it is more expensive than the second one. My son has it and it has activity board (music, spinning toys and co) that he can play with.
the first one is actually cheaper. A friend that has the first one said it moves too fast, is it true?.... thanks ma for your input. kiss to your lo

My dd has not slept well at all today, she will sleep but when i put her down she will wake up 5-15 mins later, we have been on the matter since morning, she doesn't do like this before!! once she baths she can sleep for 2/3 hours at a stretch.
Wondering what could be wrong

hello sabi mamas pls can I give my 2 weeks old baby gripe water because of her frequent hiccups and she is kinda restless too, I just pray its not colic
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by hotmomma(f): 9:19pm On Apr 26, 2017
Folamee, hiccups are normal for babies so personally I won't subscribe to gripe water. About being restless, pls reduce excessive coverings as the weather is hot, breastfeed on demand and always check her diaper. kiss to your baby

Frequent hiccups is common and normal in babies and contrary to what you think, it doesn't hurt your baby at all. But if you feel uncomfortable seeing her hiccup so much, you can offer her breast to suck....It helps

pls mamas can I use agnesia powder on my baby head and face? she has started having rashes on her face and head, she is just 2 weeks
cc zaynie, liftedhands
cc all mamas

I think 2 weeks may be a little early so she doesn't inhale it. Try observing what may have caused the rashes and eliminate it. Could be her hair oil or soap or even just over dressing. Once that's taken care of, the rashes should clear. Found out my baby's hair oil was what gave her rashes as a new born

Mama's I have noticed my babies don't like walking (ability taking steps) on the normal baby walker since I started putting them on it. But they can hold something and stand on their own....

so I'm thinking of getting them any of these activity walker. So, which of this walkers in pictures attached works better?..... help me choose pls....
...

The second one may be better. it looks more balanced. We got the educational walker for our baby and it kept toppling over. quite dangerous unsupervised. Even supervised sef, because the babies tend to lean on it. Had to put it away eventually

The tyres can be tightened to control the speed and loosened gradually as baby starts to move more. For some reason though, once she tried pushing, it kept falling forward whether you make it fast or slow

Both your sister and mother are adults are they not?

If she wants to get married, that is frankly her decision . if your mum decides to support her it is her decision as well.

there is only so much you can do. i understand your concern that she appears to be going to a marriage to someone that no one knows totally unprepared. you may not support her decision but you also cannot stop her from doing what she wants to do.

some people like to carry man on top their head like jackie-work and will fight with anyone who speaks against the relationship in any way even if it is totally justified. from what you have said your sister seems to be one of such people. unfortunately those type of people will only learn when they get badly burnt!

i do not know where you are from oh but generally it is the father's side that gives out the list, and recieves the gifts and gives out the bride traditionally. I take it your dad is not really involved however are they even considering speaking to his side of the family? or who will be representing the father of the bride on the day?

if your mum will not listen to your concerns, perhaps call another respected and trusted elderly family member or two to mediate on the matter and also so that you have witnesses to the issues that have been going on.

Then wash your hands off the matter and wish your sister well on her on-coming nuptials and marriage. tell them to send you invitation when the wedding plans has been concluded, since they have decided not to include you. sometimes things like this happen for your own benefit,
if you have a baby and your own issues to deal with, adding another persons drama on top may not ideal for your own physical and metal well-being.

Finally put it to prayer that whatever decisions they make will be the right one for your sister.

On the day of the wedding, wear your party best and dance like there is no tomorrow.

You can only force a horse to the water, you cannot force it to drink.
my uncle will stand in..We haven't spoken since the whole issue started

Yesitsme I wrote such a long post (twice!) and it disappeared. embarassed

Summary
1. Don't give up on her. Don't go against her. Tell her you want to meet the man. Talk to him and see if you can find out the type of person he is. If he is 15 years older, there is every probability that he is married or has been married before. Help her by digging.
2. The more you go against her, the more she'll fight you. Let her talk to you. Does she know what marriage entails at all?
3. Have a heart to heart talk with your mom without being rude abeg. Maybe your younger sister dey settle her well well so she doesn't know how to reprimand her.
4. Put her in your prayers.

Don't write her off.
Don't wash your hands off her.
If she goes ahead with the wedding.... Give her moral, physical and emotional support.
Let her know she'll always have you whether in good times or bad.
Good luck

Cheaper? I actually compared the prices for different walkers when I wanted to buy it. I bought it for #17K while the second one was #9K . His own is VTECH sit to stand activity walker and it has more activity board than the picture you posted but the same design. You can check it out and it has a removable activity panel that the child can play with till like the age of 3.

For the speed, it has two level of control- the first when they are still learning and the second -when the child is an expert in walking.
I saw it on jumia for 9200 and the second one for 12k something. You can also remove the somethings for baby to play with as seen in the picture on Jumia.

It may be a growth spurt. They say there are periods when they eat more and may not sleep as much when they are experiencing rapid growth. How old is she now
It could also be that she doesn't want to be put down. If you hold her does she sleep longer? My baby does that one sometimes

It's a phase that will pass. My ds did that too and with time he stopped it. There was also a time he would only sleep in my arms or on my chest. Right now I'm passing through the "back me before I sleep" stage which he started when we went to my in-laws' for easter as my MIL was always backing him. This one too go pass cheesy
