Last month, the only bridge connecting Abakpa Nike to the eastern part of Enugu town collapsed, nobody was hurt. But human and vehicular movement to Abakpa has suffered a lot.

Owerri has nothing on Enugu, call places in Owerri that you can compare with Enugu. People come to have fun in Enugu, from Owerri and all other eastern cities. Does Owerri have a Shoprite outlet, Game?

Nice effort Spyder. Don't forget to try and take pics of old GRA as well.

I think the red earth of Enugu makes the streams and Nike Lake to have a reddish colour. I remember when i used to travel to Enugu, my shoes soon get coated in reddish dust. This earth colour makes it necessary for the streets to be swept on a regular basis. Port Harcourt on the other hand has a bright beach-sand kind of earth.
